National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Calicut has invited applications for admissions in PG Diploma Course in Embedded System Design for the academic session 2013. Classes for this PG Diploma in Embedded System Design will be commenced from 14 August 2013. As there are limited seats in the course, interested yet eligible candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible.

Duration: 26 Weeks

Intake capacity: 40 (Forty)

Course Fee: Rs 68,000/- (Service Tax Extra) for General Category candidates, and For SC/ST Category applicants, the total fee payable is Rs 5,890/- (Service Tax Extra).

NOTE: The course fee can be paid in maximum of two installments.

• Last date of receiving completed application forms: 29th July 2013
• Dates of Online Test for Admissions: 23, 24, 25, 27 and 30 July 2013
• Announcement of the List of Provisionally Selected Students: 31 July 2013
• Payment of fee (full or first installment): On or before 6 August 2013
• Last date for intimation of proof of fee remittance (full or first installment): 07 August 2013
• Counseling/Admission: 07 to 13 August 2013
• Commencement of Classes: 14 August 2013
• Payment of second installment fees: 07 November 2013

Eligibility

Educational Qualification: M.E./M.Tech or B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics/Instrumentation/Biomedical /Computer Science/Information Technology or M. Sc. in Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer Science/Information Technology.

Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination and awaiting results may also apply.

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be shortlisted on the base of their marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as in the on-line admission test conducted by NIELIT subject to eligibility and availability of seats.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Knowledge in C Programming and Basic Electronics is a pre-requisite of this course.
