Eligibility Criteria for NIMHANS Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatric Social Worker & Other posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

• Asst. Professor of Clinical Psychology (Scheme-b): MA/MSc Degree in Psychology with Clinical Psychology as one of the subject or equivalent qualification and PhD/DSc in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution with 3 years teaching or research experience.
• Veterinarian: Post Graduate Degree in Veterinary Sciences with 2 years experience in large animal house of biomedical institution.
• Clinical Psychologist: MA/MSc degree in Psychology OR equivalent qualification in Psychology and DMP/DMSP/M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology OR equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.
• Clinical Psychologist (Scheme-b): MA/MSc degree in Psychology OR equivalent qualification in Psychology and DMP/DMSP/M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology OR equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.
• Psychiatric Social Worker: Master Degree in Social Work and M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work from a recognized University/Institution.
• Psychiatric Social Worker (Under, Centre for Addiction Medicine): Master Degree in Social Work and M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work from a recognized University/Institution.
• Junior Scientific Officer (Dept. Of Clinical Psychology): MA in Psychology with M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology.
• Junior Scientific Officer (Dept. Of Ni & Ir): Post Graduation (MSc/B.Tech/MBBS) with three years experience in Image processing and sequence programming using Matlab and Linux based Neuroimaging tools.
• Field Information Officer: Master in Sociology, Rural Development, Economics, Human Resources, Social Work or equivalent.
• Data Base Administrator and Software Engineer: B.Tech (Computer Science)/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent Unix/Linux, Relational Data Base (Oracle/Mysql Sybase), Data Base Administrator, Unix Administrator, Taking Backups experience, maintaining software, using or administering Hospital Information Software.
• Sr. Administrator (Data Centre Operations): B.Tech/BE (Computer Science)/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent Unix/Linux, Relational Data Base (Oracle/Mysql Sybase), Data Base Administrator, Unix Administrator, Backups and maintaining software experience using or administering or managing hospital information software installations, Java/web based application software, maintaining Data Centre.
• Staff Nurse: Pass in PUC or equivalent and Registered “A” Grade Nurse under any State Nursing Council OR BSc Nursing with Registration under any state Nursing Council.
• Office Assistant: Any Degree from a recognized University/Institution.

Age limit:

• Asst. Professor of Clinical Psychology (Scheme-b): Should not exceed 50 years
• Veterinarian: Should not exceed 30 years
• Clinical Psychologist: Should not exceed 35 years
• Clinical Psychologist (Scheme-b): Should not exceed 35 years
• Psychiatric Social Worker: Should not exceed 35 years
• Psychiatric Social Worker (Under, Centre for Addiction Medicine): Should not exceed 35 years
• Junior Scientific Officer (Dept. Of Clinical Psychology): Should not exceed 35 years
• Junior Scientific Officer (Dept. Of Ni & Ir): Should not exceed 35 years
• Field Information Officer: Should not exceed 40 years
• Data Base Administrator and Software Engineer: Should not exceed 35 years
