NIT Meghalaya Notified for Recruitment under Trainee Teacher Scheme 2014

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya issued notification inviting applications for Trainee Teacher positions. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has launched a Trainee Teacher scheme under which a NIT can engage candidates having BE/ B. Tech from a Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI)/ other AICTE recognized institutionswith valid GATE score as Trainee Teacher.Interested eligible candidates should send their applications to the Institute so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 19 May 2014.

Total posts:  Two post per discipline

Disciplines:

a. Computer Science and Engineering,

b. Electronics and Communication Engineering,

c. Electrical Engineering,

d. Mechanical Engineering

e. Civil Engineering.

Qualifications: BE/ B. Tech from a Centrally Funded Technical Institution (CFTI)/ AICTE recognized institutions with valid GATE score

NOTE: Candidates likely to complete their BE/ B. Tech by June 2014 can also apply.

Nature of the Program: To appoint “Trainee Teachers” (TT) on contractual basis at NITs subject to enrollment of the candidates in IITs for M. Tech and Ph. D programs. After successful completion of the PhD from IIT, the TT will be absorbed as an Assistant Professor in the NIT in regular scale.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with copies of relevant Documents by post to the “Registrar i/c, NIT Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong-793003” so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 19 May 2014.
