NMAT by GMAC 2015 notified: Important Details

NMAT will be conducted by GMAC from this year onwards. GMAC has taken over NMAT. GMAC is the same body which conducts GMAT Examination for management admissions world wide. Examination dates have beem notified.

Important Dates of NMAT 2015:

• Registration begins on: 2nd July 2015
• Registration ends on: 5th October 2015
• NMAT Exam begins on: 6th October 2015
• NMAT Exam ends on: 19th December 2015
• NMAT Results anouncement: 15th January 2016

NMAT 2015 by GMAC Examination Pattern:

• Language skills: 32 questions
• Quantitative skills: 48 questions
• Logical Reasoning: 40 questions 

Each of the three sections is individually timed. Test takers need to answer and review the questions of a particular section within the allotted section time. The NMAT 2015 by GMAC test takers would therefore need to solve each section within the prescribed time limit to get the best out of the exam.

NMAT 2015 by GMAC test takers will be allowed select the order of the sections in the test. There will be sectional as well as overall cut offs in NMAT 2015 by GMAC. The necessity is to perform well relative to other candidates in each of the 3 sections to get shortlisted for final admission.

There will not be any negative marking in the NMAT 2015 Exam by GMAC. Candidates can review answers at the end of each section.

Candidates can take the NMAT 2015 by GMAC three times for a single academic session. Candidates can choose one of the 27 testing centers to take the exam. Students can also choose 7 programmes for free at the time of application form filling.
