Name of the Post: Chemical Process Worker
Total Vacancies: 20 posts
Pay Scale: PB-I of Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 1800
Eligibility Criterion
Age Limit: between 18 years and 32 years.
(Age will be reckoned as on last date for receipt of applications. Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates)
Educational Qualification: 10th or equivalent + National Council for Vocational Training Certificate in the relevant trades failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma /Certificate holder + National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) and National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by National Council of Vocational Training in the relevant trade.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test and trade test.
The 100 marks Objective type written test will be OMR based. Candidates qualifying the written test will be called for trade test, on merit basis, in the ratio 1:1.25. The trade test will be qualifying in nature.
Selected candidates will be informed about their selection in due course and their services are liable to be transferred to any Ordnance / Ordnance equipment factory in India.
Travel Allowance: SC / ST candidates called for examination will be paid travel allowance on production of journey ticket, as per rules.
Application Fees: Non-refundable application fees of Rs. 50 have to be paid through a crossed DD or IPO, drawn in favour of ‘General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Itarsi’.
SC/ST/PH candidates and Ex-serviceman are exempted from payment of application fees.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with fee DD / IPO and attested copies of required documents / certificates to ‘The General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Itarsi (M.P)-461122’ so as to reach the concerned authority by the prescribed last date.
On the envelope containing the applications, candidates should super-scribe ‘Name of the Post applied for’.
Residents of the area with extended deadline for receipt of applications should also super-scribe the Name of the area on the envelope in bold letters.
A candidate should send only one application for one post.
