Eligibility Criteria for Chief Surveyor Job
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering and Ministry of Transport First Class Certificate of competency issued by Director General of Shipping, Government of India or equivalent certificate recognized by Govt. of India OR
A basic degree in Naval Architecture with 10 years of experience in sea going regular vessels/Classification Societies/ Ship Building yards/ reputed international shipping corporations or State Port Department AND
Candidates must have served in the capacity of a surveyor for a minimum period of 5 years in the DGS/State IWT Department/ State Maritime Board.
Eligibility Criteria for Surveyor Job
Educational Qualification: Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineer in possession of minimum second class Motor/Steam MOT certificate issued by Director General of Shipping, Government of India or Equivalent Certificate recognized by Govt. of India and having minimum 7 years of sailing experience OR
A basic degree in Naval Architecture with 07 years of experience in sea going regular vessels/Classification Societies/ Ship Building yards/ reputed international shipping corporations or State Port Department.
Selection Procedure for Chief Surveyor and Surveyor Posts
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of qualification and eligibility.
