Rajasthan PSC Notified Recruitment to the Post of Veterinary Officer & Geologist 2013

Rajasthan Public Service Commission invited application for recruitment to the post of Veterinary Officer and Geologist. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 30 May 2013. Rajasthan Public Service commission was established on 16 August 1949. R.P.S.C. is constituted under Article 315 of the Constitution to carry out the duties and functions delegated under Article 320 of the Constitution with the vision to execute the selection process for recruitment of eligible and proficient candidates to various civil services and various posts of the Rajasthan State, in an efficient and more transparent manner within the schedule in accordance with the rules laid by the Recruitment Board.

Vacancy Detail

Veterinary Officer: 350 posts

Geologist: 14 posts

Age Limit

• ·         Candidate age should be between 20 to 37 Years as on 1 January 2014 for Veterinary Officer.
• Candidate age should be between 20 to 42 Years as on 1 January 2014 for Geologist.

Educational Qualifications

For Veterinary Officer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or its equivalent from a recognized University.
• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

For Geologist Post:

• Post Graduate Degree in Geology or Applied Geology from a University established by Law in India or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology Dhanbad or a qualification declared equivalent by the Govt.
• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Pay Scale

Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/- for both posts.

Selection process

Candidate will be selected on the basis of written examination and then interview.
