School students are aware of their dress code, their study module, discipline formalities and the rules of a sport they play. However, there are some extra duties of students that should be followed by them mandatorily during their school life. Some of these rules not only are helpful during school life but also are useful during higher learning and even for career life.

Learning Opportunities – Students have a complete right to learning new things and also develop their own learning style that is different from others. They should be provided opportunities such as participating in classroom projects, assignments that help them expand their knowledge. Students have a right to be a part of such study modules that help them in understanding their learning logically and consistently.
Safety in School premises – Safety is a concern and every student has right to be in a secure environment. There should be no physical or mental harassment. Moreover, the classrooms should be free of conflicts, bullying and physical fights even among the students. Students should be provided counselling sessions as well as training to be able to tackle such situations in school.
Proper guidance – School students are at risk of being affected by bad influence and they need to be guided properly to help them. It is the right of every student to get proper guidance and during school; they can get the best advice from their teachers.
Regular feedback – Students should be informed about their academic as well as extracurricular progress by their teacher on regular basis. This helps students to improve in the weaker areas. The feedback should not only be about the subjects mentioned on the report card but also about their behavioural, moral values and uprightness.
Leadership and Team participation – Students should be given equal rights to participate in activities at school, be it sports, academics, extracurricular. These activities will impart knowledge and skills that are practical in nature like motivational skills, interpersonal skills, logical and cognitive ability etc.
Discipline and integrity – Students should follow the rules and regulations of the school right from the prayer meeting in morning to leaving the school. They should be maintaining the decorum along with their classmates and not influence them with unethical activities. Students should be listening to their teachers' guidance and be proactive with their studies as well as extracurricular.
Implement learning into practice – students should not only keep their academic record good but also they should be implementing their learning. For example, if they have studied about an environmental issue, then they should actively do something about it or generate ideas for taking measures via their projects or assignment work. They should brainstorm and take a practical approach to their learning
Be responsible towards school’s property – Sometimes, students do not understand the value of school’s property and end up damaging the property. But students should never do this as the school’s property is for every student studying there so, they should not damage it. Students causing damage to school property are levied charges for the expenditure caused by damage.
Ethical use of facilities at school – Students should not use the facilities like computers, sports materials, or accessing the restricted areas without permission. They should understand their responsibilities towards these things at school and should never utilise it without teacher’s or school authority’s acknowledgement.
