Eligibility Criteria for Scientist and Other Posts Job

Educational Qualification

• Scientist ‘C’ (Medical)- Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience OR Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years’ experience OR MBBS degree with 4 years’ experience in Medical subjects after MBBS Degree.
• Scientist ‘B’ (Non Medical or Medical)- 1^st Class Master’s Degree (MD/Pharmacy/Ayurveda /Homeopathy) in Pharmacology from a recognized University with 2 years experience or MBBS degree with 2 years Research/Teaching experience or MD in Pharmacology from a recognized University Or 2^nd Class Master’s Degree (MD/Pharmacy/Ayurveda/Homeopathy) in Pharmacology with PhD degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
• SRF (Chemistry)- 1 st Class Master’s Degree (MD/Pharmacy/ Ayurveda/Homeopathy) in Pharmacology from a recognized University with 2 years experience or MBBS degree with 2 years Research/Teaching experience or MD in Pharmacology from a recognized University. Or 2 nd Class Master’s Degree (MD/Pharmacy/ Ayurveda/Homeopathy) in Pharmacology with PhD degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
• SRF (Biochemistry)- 1 st Class Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from a UGC recognized University with NET qualification or 1st Class Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University with 2 years of Post M.Sc. Research/Industrial experience on Phytochemistry/Natural Product Chemistry as evident from the published papers in peer reviewed JCR-indexed journals.
• Animal Attendant- 1 st Class Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences including Biochemistry from a recognized University with NET qualification or 1st Class Master’s Degree in the above field with 2 years of Post M.Sc. Research/Industrial experience on cell culture/animal modeling as evident from published papers in peer reviewed JCR-indexed journals
• Project Assistant - High school or equivalent from recognized board
• Research Assistant- Graduate in Biological Sciences/Pharmacy/MBBS/BAMS/BHMS from a recognized University with 3 years of work experience from a recognized institution OR Master’s Degree in the relevant subjects as above from a recognized University

Age Limit for Scientist ‘C’ (Medical) and Other Posts Job

• Scientist ‘C’ (Medical)- Not exceeding 40 years
• Scientist ‘B’ (Non Medical or Medical)- Not exceeding 35 years.
• SRF- Not exceeding 35 years
• Animal Attendant- Not exceeding 25 years
• Project Assistant - Not exceeding 28 years
• Research Assistant- Not exceeding 30 years
