The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences conducts Rajasthan Pre Medical Test (RPMT) every year as the admission test. The candidates have to clear this exam in order to get admission into Medical degree programmes offered by this university. The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences has 13 colleges recognized by it and located at different places across the state. The university is very prestigious and offers 4 year courses in B. Pharm and D. Pharm, 4 year course and a year’s internship for BDS and 4.5 year course with a year’s internship for MBBS.

The eligibility criteria for applying for RPMT are- a candidate must have cleared their class 12th intermediate exams with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects. They should have obtained at least 50% marks in their board exams. For reserved category, only 45% marks is required. The candidate eligible for filling the application form must be at least 17 years of age by 31st December, 2014.The application process was made completely online by the university. The registration for RPMT closed on May 3rd, 2014. Application charges of Rs. 1500 and Rs. 750 were charged for general and reserved category, respectively. The examinations are scheduled to be held on 28th, 29th and 30th May, 2014. The candidates who have filled the application will receive their admit card via post. One can also look for their admit cards from the official website of the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences.

As mentioned on the official website, the RPMT exam syllabus will include question of intermediate standard. The syllabus will be that of books of Secondary Board of Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer or New Delhi. The exam will have objective question and it will be conducted on computer. According to the exam pattern, a total of 300 questions will be asked, 100 each from Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Every question will have 4 options and will carry 4 marks. Negative marking will be there in which 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.The RPMT 2014 exam results are expected to come out by third week of June. The board will upload the result on its official website.

About 85% seats of this university will be filled by RPMT results and the rest will be filled via other medical exams. We will all the candidates appearing for the RPMT exam good luck and hope they crack it with flying colors.
