What is SBI CBO Salary Per Month?

The SBI CBO in hand salary includes basic pay and allowances. Initially, the starting basic pay of a newly recruited Circle Based Officer will be Rs 48480. It increases by Rs 2000 annually for the next 7 years, reaching basic pay of Rs 62480, then by Rs 2340 annually for the next two years to Rs 67160 and finally by Rs 2680 annually for the next 7 years, reaching maximum basic pay of Rs 85920. Apart from basic pay, there are also various perks and benefits included in the salary package. So, the starting SBI CBO salary per month can be somewhere between INR 50,000 and INR 52,000 per month, approximately.

SBI CBO Job Profile

• Responsible for approving different types of loans.
• Resolving customer issues/queries and maintaining professional client relationships.
• Performing all the duties as allocated by higher officials.

SBI CBO Probation Period

Candidates selected as Circle Based Officers in SBI will undergo probation for 6 months from the date of joining the Bank. They will be subjected to regular assessment during the probationary period to evaluate their job suitability for confirmation. Those who qualify in their assessment as per bank standards will be confirmed in the service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). Those who fail to achieve the minimum standards stipulated, their services might be terminated as per Bank policy in force at the material time.  

SBI CBO Career Growth and Promotion

The selected CBO officers will be recruited in the general cadre and will be governed by the promotion policy based on the guidelines for Bank’s general cadre officers. They will not be eligible for inter-circle transfer/ Corporate Centre Posting/ Corporate Centre Establishment Posting/ Foreign Posting up to their promotion to SMGS-IV Grade or 12 years of service, whichever is later.
