Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification for Teacher Primary Post: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. (by whatever name known). (ii) Qualified in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. i.e. CTET & State TET.
Educational Qualification for Teacher Upper Primary Post: Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education. (B.El. Ed.). OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education). Qualified in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. i.e. CTET & State TET)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Weightage of marks obtain in CTET/TET, Educational & Professional Qualification, Domicile of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Teaching Experience (Minimum 01 academic year), Computer competency certificate (Certificate in Computer Application).

Duly filled-in application along with attested copies of all required relevant certificate including Domicile and Caste Certificate issued by the Mamlatdar, Silvassa/Khanvel, Dadra and Nagar Haveli should reach to the Department of Elementary Education, Silvassa Municipal Council, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa- 396230 during office hour (9:30 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday).
