Pay Scale: Pay Band 1 of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800
Eligibility Criterion
Age limit: between 18 years and 33 years [as on 1 January 2014]
The Maximum age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC category candidates and by 5 years for SC / ST category candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.
Scouts & Guides Qualification: A President’s Scout / Guide / Rover / Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR Pre HWB trained Scout leader / Advanced Trained Guide / Leader / captain.
b. Should have been an active member of Scout & Guide Organization for at least 3years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
c. Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two event at State level OR should have a good record of participation in Scout & Guide activities at Unit / District Level.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in written test followed byh Personality Test / Interview.
Only short-listed eligible candidate will be called for Written Test and those qualifying the written test will be called for Interview.
The written test will have 50 objective type questions related to Scout & Guide Organization and its activities
Candidates will be required to bring their original documents / certificates at the time of Written Test and Interview, for verification.
Candidates recommended for appointment will be required to clear the medical test prescribed for the particular post.
Examination Fees: Non-refundable examination fees of Rs. 100 have to be paid through an Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of ‘Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Nanded Division, South Central Railway’payable at Nanded.
SC / ST / minority / economically backward and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
Candidates should write their name and full address at the space provided in the IPO.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications (in the prescribed format in English / Hindi) along with one passport size photograph, original IPO as fees, attested copies of required certificates / documents and two self addressed registered envelope through ordinary post to ‘Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Nanded Division, Air Port Road, Rail Vikas Sadan, South Central Railway, Nanded – 431 605 (Maharashtra state)’ so as to reach the concerned authority by the prescribed last date.
On the envelope, candidates should super-scribe “RECRUITMENT AGAINST SCOUTS AND GUIDES QUOTA, NANDED DIVISION 2013 -14”.
