Southern Central Railway Notified Recruitment Against Scouts And Guides Quota 2013

South Central Railway invited applications for the recruitment to the 2 Group D Posts. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates in the prescribed Performa appended for Recruitment to Posts in erstwhile Group-D Services in PB-1 in scale Rs. 5200 – 20200 with grade pay Rs. 1800/- on Hyderabad Division against Scouts & Guides quota. The South Central Railway is one of the 16 railway zones in India. It was created on 2 October 1966 as the ninth zone of Indian Railways.

Name of the Post : Group ‘D’ Services in PB – 1 / PB – 1 Pay Band.

Number of Vacancies : 02 Posts

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20200 with grade pay Rs. 1800/-.

Educational Qualification: 10th Pass or ITI or Equivqlent.

Age as on 01 January 2014  :  Between 18 to 33 years for UR candidates, 18 to 36 years for candidates belonging to OBC & 18 to 38 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories.

Eligibility Criteria : The candidates should fulfill following norms for recruitment against Scouts & Guides quota.
a) A President Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover or Himalayan Wood Badge or a Pre HWB trained Scout Leader/ Advanced trained Guide/ Leader/ Captain.
b) Should have been an active member of Scout Organisation for atleast 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
c) Should have attended atleast one event at National Level and one or two events at State Level or should have good record of participation in Scouts/ Guides activities at Unit/ District level.

Fees

Indian Postal Order of Rs. 100/- drawn in favour of Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad.

The candidate should apply on a quality plain paper of full scape size in the given format only in Hindi/ English (no other regional language will be entertained) and send in a closed cover super-scribed as “Recruitment Against Scouts And Guides Quota , Hyderabad Division, SCR – 2013-14”.

Selection  Process: The candidates, who apply in response to notification issued and are found eligible for consideration for appointment against scouts and guides quota shall be assessed on the following basis:
