1. Assistant Director (Marketing): 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-3 of Rs. 15600 – 39100 with GP of Rs. 5400
Maximum Age limit: 30 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Degree or Post Graduate Degree / Two year Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing/ Foreign Trade.

2. Computer Assistant: 2 posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with GP of Rs. 2800
Maximum Age limit: 30 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Information Technology with One year experience in computer/ network maintenance, programming, IT Services/ Electronic Data Processing.

3. Publicity Assistant: 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with GP of Rs. 2800
Maximum Age limit: 30 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Degree / Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Journalism / Communications / Public relations, knowledge of computer fundamentals and working knowledge in Windows/ Linux operating system, word processing, electronic worksheet, e-mail etc

4. Senior Clerk: 4 posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with GP of Rs. 2400
Maximum Age limit: 30 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Degree and familiar with Office productivity software like word processing, spreadsheet;

5. Junior Clerk: 3 posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with GP of Rs. 1900
Maximum Age limit: 30 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Degree and Computer literate with knowledge of computer fundamentals and working knowledge in Windows/ Linux operating system, word processing, electronic worksheet, e-mail etc

6. Agriculture Demonstrator: 21 posts
Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs. 5200 – 20200 with GP of Rs. 1900
Maximum Age limit: 30 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Botany

7. Scientist B (Microbiology): 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-3 of Rs. 15600 – 39100 with GP of Rs. 5400
Maximum Age limit: 35 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology/ General Microbiology/ Food Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology and Doctorate in Microbiology in any of the mentioned disciplines OR Three years' research experience in the field of quality control of agricultural products

8. Scientist B (Plant Breeding): 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-3 of Rs. 15600 – 39100 with GP of Rs. 5400
Maximum Age limit: 35 years (as on 1 January 2014)
Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with specialization in Plant Breeding or Post Graduate Degree in Botany with specialization in Plant Breeding/ Genetics/Taxonomy/ Cytology/ Plant physiology and Doctorate in Plant Breeding OR Three years research experience in the above area of specialization with supporting certificates/ documents.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the written exam followed by Interviews.
Written exam will be held in two phases: Phase I -Objective Test; Phase II – Descriptive Test;

Application Fees: Non-refundable application fees of Rs. 700 (Rs. 350 for SC, ST candidates) is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in the favor of ‘Secretary, Spices Board’ Demand Draft Kochi
