SSC CGL 2017: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the important corrigendum of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2017 on 23 July 2019 regarding the appropriate compensatory time for VH Candidates. Candidates can check the notification on the official website of SSC- ssc.nic.in.
According to the corrigendum released by the SSC, "VH candidates may be allowed appropriate compensatory time in DEST at par with typing test. Only those VH candidates who opt for scribes in the written examination will be provided passage reader at the time of skill test."
Candidates should note that not Visually Handicapped (VH) candidates will be allowed additional compensatory time of five minute in DEST. Notice further clarify that only those visually handicapped candidates who opt for scribes in the written examination will be provided passage reader at the time of skill test. The duration of the skill test for visually handicapped candidates will be twenty minutes.

It is to be noted that the SSC Combined Graduate Level exam used to conduct in a four tier system. Out of these, tier one and tier two are computer based test while tier three and four used to conduct in descriptive mode. Under these test, candidates will have to go under a descriptive paper and a computer proficiency test or skill test.
