SSC has notified the CGLE 2017 aspirants regarding the DoPT’s instructions, as contained in the OM no 14017/70/87 -Estt. (RR) dated 14 July 1988, which specifies the provisions for calculating the crucial date for calculation of age for the competitive examinations to be conducted in particular year.
As SSC has declared the schedule for the CGLE 2017 on the official website, It is to be noted as per the DoPT’s instructions, the crucial date for reckoning of age calculation for CGLE 2017 would be 01.08.2017 and as per SSC, no change in this date would be made. The opening date for applying online for SSC CGLE 2017 is 11 March 2017 and the closing date for the application would be 15 April 2017.
As per the SSC examination schedule for the year 2017, the CGLE 2017 will be conducted as below:
The CGLE Tier I examination will be held between 19 June 2017 and 02 July 2017.
The CGLE Tier II examination will be held between 05 September 2017 and 08 September 2017.
The CGLE Tier III examination will be held on 12 November 2017.
The CGLE Tier IV examination (Skill test) will be held in December 2017.
