The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the SSC CHSL Exam Date 2024 for Tier 2 exam on its official website, ssc.gov.in. The SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam is scheduled to take place on November 18, 2024, aiming to fill 3,712 vacancies for Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant (LDC/JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) positions. Candidates who successfully cleared the Tier 1 exam are eligible to appear for the next stage.
According to the result issued by the commission, a total of 39,835 candidates have qualified for the LDC/JSA posts, while 1,630 candidates have been shortlisted for the DEO/DEO Grade 'A' positions. You can check the complete SSC CHSL Exam Schedule here.
SSC CHSL Exam Date 2024
SSC conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam every year at the national level to shortlist eligible candidates for Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts. It is held in 2 stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Tier 1 was conducted from 1st to 11th July 2024. SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam will be conducted online in a computer-based test format, consisting of three sections with two modules each. The merit list will be determined based on the aggregate marks scored in Section-I and Section-II of the Tier 2 exam, while Section-III will be qualifying in nature. Each question will carry 3 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
