SSC CPO Paper 2 Shift Timings: The Staff Selection Commission has revised the shift timings for SSC CPO Paper 2 exam. As per the latest announcement, the exam, which was earlier scheduled for the morning shift from 9 am to 11 am on April 30, will now be conducted in the afternoon shift from 3 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates who have successfully cleared the PET exam are eligible to appear for the SSC CPO Paper 2025. This exam is being held to fill 5308 vacancies for the Sub-Inspector (SI) posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Delhi Police.
SSC CPO Paper 2 Shift Timings
The commission will conduct SSC CPO SI Paper 2 exam in a single shift on April 30th. It will begin at 3 pm and conclude at 5 pm. The reporting time is 1:45 pm. You can check the revised shift timings and reporting time in the table below.

SSC CPO 2025: Important Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates must carry their SSC CPO Paper 2 admit card, along with a valid photo ID proof and two recent passport-size photographs.
- It is advisable to reach the examination centre at least 2 hours before the shift timings to avoid last-minute hassle. The entry gates will close at 2:30 PM, after which no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- Electronic gadgets, study material, and other restricted items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. If any candidate is found carrying any prohibited items, they will be disqualified from the exam.
SSC CPO Exam Pattern
SSC CPO Tier 2 consists of a single section on English Language and Comprehension. The paper includes 200 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. Candidates will be given 2 hours to attempt the exam. Through this section, aspirants’ understanding and proficiency in English language would be tested.
