SSC JE Examination 2016: Computer Based Written Examination Rescheduled

SSC has rescheduled the SSC JEE Computer Based Written Examination dates, now the SSC Junior Engineer recruitment examination is scheduled to be held on 08, 09 and 12 December 2016, instead of 03 to 05 December 2016 as previously mentioned in the official notification.

SSC has rescheduled the SSC JEE Computer Based Written Examination dates, now the SSC Junior Engineer recruitment examination is scheduled to be held on 08, 09 and 12 December 2016, instead of 03 to 05 December 2016 as previously mentioned in the official notification.  

Staff Selection Commission has earlier invited application for the SSC JE Examination 2016 for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer under Civil, Mechanical, Electrical  and quantity Surveying & Contract  branches for various departments. The candidates possessing Degree Diploma in Engineering in the Concerned discipline were eligible to apply. The last date of application was 31 October 2016. 

Candidates, who have successfully applied for SSC JE Examination 2016, will be able to download the Admit card from the official website tentatively in the end of November. Candidates will be selected for the post of Junior Engineer on the basis of Two phase written examination; candidates qualifying the first phase of examination will be called for the next second phase, there will be no interview as per the new SSC recruitment guidelines

 SC JE Paper I: Paper I will consist of three parts namely i.e. General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 marks), General Awareness (50 marks), and General Engineering (100 marks). General Engineering section is divided into three sections: part-A (Civil & Structural), part-B (Electrical) and part-C (Mechanical). Candidates need to attempt only one part, relevant to their engineering discipline. SSC JE Paper I will be objective type (carry 200 marks and exam duration will be 2 hours).There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC JE Paper-II: Conventional type and will consist of  three parts in which candidates need to attempt only one part relevant to the applied JE post. (Paper-2 carries 300 marks and exam duration will be 2 hours).
