SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C/ D’ Exam 2017: Recently, Staff Selection Commission has released a notice regarding the announcement of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Exam 2017 Final Result. The Commission will declare the final result on 29 March 2019.
SSC Steno Final Result 2017 announcement has been delayed due to the representations received by the candidates concerning evaluation of Skill Test, as per the notice released by the Commission on 18 December 2018.
In view of the newly received representations, SSC has decided to review the SSC Steno 2017 Skill Test scores. Since this process may take time, the final result will not be announced, as per the notice of SSC.
SSC had released the list of candidates who were declared successful in the SSC Steno 2017 Skill Test on 28 November 2018 followed by an additional list of qualified candidates on 10 December 2018.
SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C/ D’ Exam 2017 Result: The Staff Selection Commission has announced the additional Skill Test Result for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’. Earlier, the commission had declared the result of Skill Test of the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2017 on 28 November 2018 wherein 601 candidates qualified for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 2211 candidates qualified for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. Now, the SSC has re-evaluated the result and 56 additional candidates have been qualified in the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ exam
The official notification reads - "Some representations about the evaluation of Skill Test were received from the candidates. A comprehensive examination of the result of Skill Test declared on 28-11-2018 was undertaken by the Commission and it was observed that the Skill Test of only one Batch i.e. Batch-III of the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ - Hindi held on 09-09-2018 in SSC (Northern Region) was inadvertently evaluated with wrong Master Passage"
Hence, the total number of candidates qualifying in the Skill Test for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ now stands revised to 2267. The document verification for selected more 56 candidates will be held on 12 and 13 December 2018.

SSC Steno Grade ‘C/ D’ Skill Test Result: The Staff Selection Commission has announced the skill test result of SSC Stenographer Grade C and Group D Posts on its official website. As per the official notification, 601 candidates for Group C and 2211 candidates for Group D have qualified the Skill test.

SSC Steno Grade ‘C/ D’ Skill Tests were conducted by Regional Offices of the Commission. A total of 3731 candidates appeared in Stenographer Grade ‘C’ Skill Test and 6439 candidates appeared in Stenographer Grade ‘D’ Skill Test.
SSC Steno cut off marks for the Skill Test for Group C candidates has been set at 202 and cut off marks for the Group D are 592, relaxation in cut off for reserved category has been allowed as per the norms..
Candidates who have been selected in SSC Steno Grade ‘C/ D’ Skill Test, will be required to appear for Document Verification. The schedule of Document Verification in respect of Regions who have not conducted the same i.e. KKR, MPR, NR, SR, & WR will be uploaded on their respective websites. The document Verification is tentatively scheduled from 07 December 2018.
SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2017 written result has been declared by the Staff Selection commission on the official website, on the midnight of 21st November 2017. As per the official write up of SSC, 8469 candidates for Group C and 15004 candidates have qualified for the Group D Skill test.
Total 2,24,618 candidates took SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2017, held from 11 to 14 September 2017 at centers across the country. The cut off marks for the Group C candidates has been set at 141 and cut off marks for the Group D are 134.50, relaxation in cut off for reserved category has been allowed as per the norms. It should be noted that the selection of candidates is provisional subject to the fulfillment of recruitment norms of SSC.
