Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Invites Applications for Undergraduate Programmes Through SET 2025 & SITEEE 2025

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU), a globally acclaimed institution, is accepting applications for its undergraduate programmes through the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) 2025. Aspiring students can apply by April 12, 2025. These tests provide the flexibility of two attempts, allowing candidates to improve their scores. The tests are scheduled for May 5 and May 11, 2025, with results announced on May 22, 2025.

About SET and SITEEE 2025

The SET and SITEEE are one-hour, computer-based tests conducted across 80 cities in India, ensuring accessibility.

• SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test): This test evaluates General English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning, ensuring a holistic assessment.
• SITEEE (Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam): Tailored for engineering aspirants, it tests Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics proficiency.

Both tests consist of 60 objective questions with no negative marking, encouraging students to attempt all questions confidently.

Eligibility Criteria

• SET 2025: Passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% Marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes). Students who wish to opt for Honours with Research must earn a 7.5 CGPA and above at the end of the Semester-6. Eligibility Criteria for the Multiple entries would be as per University's Lateral Entry Rules for FYUG Programmes.
• SITEEE 2025: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/ Information Technology/Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies /Entrepreneurship. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Or Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. (The University will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme).

Registration Process

The registration process for SET and SITEEE 2025 is entirely online. To apply:

1. Register online on the website www.set-test.org (Registration closes on April 12, 2025 (Saturday))
2. A candidate can appear for SET/SITEEE on both the dates May 05, 2025 (Monday) and May 11, 2025, (Sunday). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.
3. Pay the non-refundable fee of INR 2250 per test and INR 1000 per program. Payments can be made online or through a Demand Draft in favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat.”
4. Download admit cards from April 25, 2025 (Test 01), and April 30, 2025 (Test 02).
