In this fast changing world where financial acumen defines success, VITTSHALA – The Financial Literacy Cell of SRCC stands as a ray of sunshine for the shadows of naivety that surrounds the less privileged communities. By bridging the gap between financial theory and real-world applications, Vittshala curates an experience that transforms students from passive learners to aware & informed decision makers.
Through its annual flagship event, The Financial Literacy Colloquy (TFLC), it provides a national platform for students across the country to test, expand and augment their financial skills and knowledge.
Since its inception in 2020, TFLC has proven to be a trailblazer. With every new edition, it has expanded its horizons by introducing new competitions, several notable speakers and groundbreaking feedback.
TFLC 1.0 debuted with Nitikaar, a blend of case study and mock stock as its flagship competition alongside an Investor Awareness Program by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs with an insightful keynote by Dr. Arpita Mukherjee (Professor ICRIER).
TFLC 2.0's lineup was joined by Fingenuity (mastering money) and Arthniti (resource strategy) with Dr. Amit Singh's (Unicreds) inspiration to the crowd.
Its third edition introduced Udyam, a social business plan competition with esteemed speakers like Mr. Subhash Garg and Dr. Barendra Kumar Bhoi (SEBI) sharing their wisdom.
TFLC 4.0 raised the bar with Vittshala, featuring a range of masterclasses, bureaucrats panel, educators and a cultural performance by Aamir Mehdi.
TFLC 5.0 saw to its repertoire the addition of Mudramania (paper trading) and Shri Ram Bitbash (mock crypto) alongside an elite speaker lineup including Mr. Manoj Tiwari, Mrs. Sonal Goel (IAS), CA CS Shantam Gupta and CA Sakchi Jain among many others, with a closing performance by singer Anuj Rehan.
Now, TFLC 6.0 is set to be held on March 28-29, 2025 with two new events – SRCC X Zerodha Varsity Quiz and Fiscal Phoenix (policy-making).
The stage is set – will you be part of the next chapter?
