University Grants Commission invites applications for the award of 1000 PG Scholarships under the scheme of PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC & ST candidates for the year 2011- 2012 to undertake postgraduate level studies in professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. on regular basis only.

- Opening date for online submission of application: 28 September 2011
- Last date for applying for scholarship: 27 October 2011
Eligibility Criteria: Only those candidates who have been admitted in postgraduate professional subjects at recognised universities/ colleges during the academic session 2011-12 are eligible to apply under the scheme.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of merit by an Expert Committee.
