Union Bank of India notified recruitment process for filling up 598 vacant posts of Specialist Officers across various domains from 17 July 2012. The recruitment process of the bank will end on 31 July 2012.
Candidates who have completed their Graduation, specialize in their related field and have valid IBPS score card can apply for the post. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS for Specialist Officers in March 2012 and Interview.
Union Bank of India was registered on 11 November 1919 and was nationalised in 1969. Inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, the Bank has 240 branches in India. UBI began its international expansion in 2007 with the opening of representative offices in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Shanghai, Peoples Republic of China etc.
