University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT)

Purpose: To select candidates for admission to its various BTech disciplines across multiple fields like conventional & non-conventional energy in the UPES College of Engineering Studies (CoES). These include CNG, LNG, LPG, Nuclear Energy, Pipelines, Aerospace, Refining & Petrochemicals, Energy systems, Geo-sciences, Automotive Design, Mechatronics, IT and Infrastructure.
Cost of Form: Rs. 1,500 (Also available online)
Eligibility Criteria: A minimum of 60% in Class 10 and 12, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM (Class 12). Exam takers of AIEEE who get an All India Rank up to 1 lakh are exempted from UPESEAT.
Date of Examination: 21 May, 2011
Deadline for Application Submission: 29 April, 2011
Selection Process: Each candidate is supposed to take a written test based on which the candidates get selected for counseling.
