UPPSC RO ARO Exam Paper Leak News: Aspirants on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) ran the campaign claiming that the Uttar Public Service Commission (UPSC) Review Officer (RO)/Assistant Review Officer (ARO) prelims paper leaked before it was conducted on February 11, 2024.
The Commission has released an official notice that the exam was successfully conducted at 2387 exam centres in 58 districts of Uttar Pradesh (UP) in two sessions from 9:30-11:30 am and 2:30-3:30 pm where 1076004 aspirants attempted the paper, which makes approximately 64% of the total applicants.

The candidates reported the commission about the paper leak, owing to which the UPPSC released notice that a three member committee was set up to investigate the claims made by the candidates regarding the RO ARO preliminary paper. The commission has also sent a formal recommendation letter to the state government requesting the Special Task Force (STF) to probe the matter.
The candidates have demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter. The youth preparing for competitive exams have demanded the formation of a three-member inquiry committee headed by a sitting High Court judge and two retired High Court judges to probe the allegations. They also want the investigation to be completed within 15 days and an email ID, post box address, or WhatsApp number to be issued on which the aggrieved candidates can send complaints. They also want the identities of the complainants to be kept confidential.
The examination was conducted for 411 vacant positions, 334 of which are for Samiksha Adhikari and 77 are for Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari. The examination consists of three stages: prelims, mains and typing tests. The preliminary exam holds a total of 200 marks, while the main exam has 400.
UPPSC RO ARO Exam Pattern
