Factors Affecting UPSC CAPF Cutoff Marks
The cut-off marks are dependent on multiple factors, such as number of candidates, number of vacancies, difficulty level of exam, etc. To successfully complete an examination in one attempt, candidates need to understand these elements and create a successful study plan. The factors that affect the CSPF AC cutoff are listed below.
Number of Applicants: The number of candidates appearing in the prelims exam decides the UPSC CAPF cut-off marks. If the number of candidates is high, the overall competition and Cut off marks will be lower.
Vacancies: The overall vacancies are considered when deciding the UPSC CAPF cut-off marks. If the UPSC CAPF vacancies are fewer, the cut-off marks will also be lower, and vice versa.
