UPSC has declared CDS 1 exam result. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their result at the official web page of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
Results have been announced for Combined Defence Services Examination (I)-2016 / CDS 1 Exam 2016. Union Public Service Commission has selected 126 candidates who will further have to appear for SSB interviews.
UPSC conducts CDS exam every year for admission to the 142nd Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course i.e. 201/16 F/PC.
The Commission has recommended 92, 31 and 03 as qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy/ Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy respectively.
The recruitment process is being held for selecting candidates against 200 vacancies for Indian Military Academy [including 25 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders], 45 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala -[ General Service] including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders](Naval Wing) and 32 for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad.
Candidates should note that while preparing the merit list, medical examination has not been taken into account.
