CDS Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the CDS Result 2024 on its official website, upsc.gov.in, in pdf format for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) II examination. A total of 349 candidates have been selected for admission to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Air Force Academy (AFA).

CDS Result 2024

The CDS result has been announced for the examination conducted in September 2024. The Commission had recommended 2534, 900, and 613 as qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy, respectively. The number of candidates finally qualified are those after SSB test conducted by Army Head Quarters. Check the table below for key highlights.

CDS 2 2024 Merit List

The UPSC has released the CDS 2 2024 merit list of 349 candidates for admission to IMA, INA, and AFA. The final selection was based on written exam scores and SSB interview performance. While 2,534 candidates qualified for IMA, 900 cleared INA, and 613 were eligible for AFA in the written test, only the top candidates made the final merit list.

Step 1: Visit the official website: https://upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the "Examination" tab in the top menu.

Step 3: Select "Active Examinations" or "Results" from the dropdown.

Step 4: Find the link: "Final Result: Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024."

Step 5: Click on the PDF link to view the merit list.

Step 6: Search for your roll number using Ctrl+F.

Step 7: Download and save the result for future reference.

The candidates whose name and roll number is provided in the final merit list will now start receiving the joining letters from respective categories. Candidates have to report to the respective academies for training
