IAS Prelims 2015 Result was declared on 12 October 2015. Congratulations to all the qualified candidates and better luck next time for the others. The real competition where each and every mark counts starts now onwards. The IAS Main Exam will be commencing from 18 December 2015.

But firstly the candidates need to fill the Detailed Application Form for the Civil Services (Main) Examination and submit it to the UPSC till 13 November 2015. The Detailed Application Form will be available on the UPSC Website from 29 October 2015.
The candidature of qualified candidates is provisional. All these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form, DAF (CSM), for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2015, which would be available on the website of the Union Public Service Commission.
All the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the DAF (CSM) online and submit the same ONLINE for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2015 to be held from Sunday, the 18th December, 2015.
The Qualified candidates first need to register on the UPSC Website before filling and submitting the IAS Main Exam DAF (CSM). The candidates need to take the print out of the DAF(CSM) submitted online and send it by Post/Courier, after Signing at all the relevant places with all the required copy of the documents attached, to the address mentioned below.

This DAF (CSM) should reach the Commission's Office latest by 20th November, 2015, 5:00 PM. The envelope containing the print out of the DAF(CSM) that is submitted ONLINE by the successful candidate should be superscribed.

It can also be delivered at the Union Public Service Commission counter by hand till by 20th
November, 2015, 5:00 PM.
The e-Admit card along with the time table of the Main Examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s Website to the eligible candidates around 2 weeks before the commencement of the examination. Changes, if any, in the postal address after or email address or mobile number submission of the DAF (CSM) may be communicated to the Commission at once.
