UPSC Notified Recruitment for 10 Various Posts 2014

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invited Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) for recruitment to the posts of Livestock Officer, Marketing Officer and Assistant Professor in different discipline. Eligible candidates can apply to the mentioned post in the prescribed format on or before 29 May 2014.

Details of Post

Livestock Officer: 01 Post

• Department: Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries Ministry of Agriculture
• Pay Scale: 15600-39,100 ( PB-3) + Rs. 5,400 (Grade Pay)
• Age Limit: 35 yrs
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry as listed in the First & Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984. ii) Registration in the Veterinary Council of India or Veterinary Council of States.
• Experience: Three years’ experience in the Cattle and Livestock Development or Animal Health or Poultry or Meat and Meat Products.

Marketing Officer (Group-III) (Oils and Fats): 05 Posts

• Department: Directorate of Marketing & Inspection, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture
• Pay Scale: 9300-34,800 ( PB-2) + Rs. 4,600 (Grade Pay)
• Age Limit: 30 yrs.
• Educational Qualification:  Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Agriculture/ Chemistry / Dairy Chemistry / Dairying from a recognized University or equivalent OR Bachelor’s Degree in Oil Technology / Food Technology / Chemical Technology / Dairy Technology from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Experience: Two years’ experience in the field of analytical work of organic material

Assistant Professor (Chemistry): 01 Post

• Department: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Administration
• Pay Scale: 15600-39,100 ( PB-3) + Rs. 6,000 (Academic Grade Pay)
• Age Limit: 35 yrs.
• Education Qualification: Good Academic Record with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent Grade in a Point Scale wherever grade system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Chemistry from a recognized university or institute. (ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualification, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET / SET

Assistant Professor (English): 01 Post

• Department: Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Pahargaon, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Administration
• Pay Scale: 15600-39,100 ( PB-3) + Rs. 6,000 (Academic Grade Pay)
• Age Limit: 35 yrs.
• Educational Qualifications: Master’s Degree level in English from a recognized university or institute with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent Grade in a Point Scale wherever grade system is followed (ii) Besides, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET / SET.
