Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination(UPSEE) is a state level engineering entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges. It is regulated by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).
UPSEE Exams is conducted for admission in various UG and PG programmes like B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture), B.FAD (Bachelor in Fashion & Design), B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy), BHMCT (bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology), MBA (Master of Business Administration), MAM (dual degree), and MCA (Master in Computer Application).
Examination Pattern:
UPSEE/UPTU 2017 Entrance Exam will be held for 12 different papers. All questions will be of MCQ type (except drawing test as part B of paper IV for Architecture program).
For admission to first year of BTech the candidate has to appear for
- Physics and Mathematics
- Any one of Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject
The paper will consist of 150 MCQ questions with single correct option. Candidates will be awarded with 4 marks for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answer.
