Educational Qualification for SRF and Other Jobs:
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M.Sc. Agriculture in Horticulture/Vegetable Science/Agronomy/Soil Science/Plant Protection with 04 years or 05 years of Bachelor’s Degree from recognized university. Candidates having Post-graduate degree in Basic Science with Graduate and Post Graduate degree. Candidates must be NET qualified and 02 years of research experience. Desired Experience in Hill agriculture.
- Research Associate (RA): Ph.D. in Business Management/Life Sciences/Agriculture Economics/Information Technology OR Master’s degree in Business Management/Life Sciences/ Agriculture Economics/Information Technology with 04 years/05 years of Bachelor degree with 60% marks. Candidates at least 03 years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate ship/Training/other engagement. Desired Experience in patent drafting, filing, analysis and prosecution & License agreement drafting.
- Young Professional-I: Graduates degree in Agricultural/Horticultural Sciences or Graduate in Science or Diploma in engineering/Technology. Desired Experience in working with different modern instruments for soil and plant analysis/organic crop management.
- Young Professional-II: Post Graduate in Biotechnology/Botany/Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Life Science with a minimum of one year experience in Plant tissue culture/transgenic development OR Ph.D. degree in any of the above subjects in the area of plant tissue culture/ transgenic development/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology.
