WB CMO Health, Bardhaman Notified Recruitment for 6 Lady Counselors 2014

Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, District Health & Family Welfare Samity, Bardhaman under Government of West Bengal, issued notification inviting applications from female candidates only for filling up 6 posts of Lady Counsellors with Anwesha Clinics at 6 BPHCs in the Burdwan district. The engagement will be contractual basis for a period of 11 months only. Interested female candidates should send their applications till 22 January 2014.

Type of Recruitment: on contract basis
Period of Recruitment: 11 months, extendable if required.

Salary: Rs. 13200 per month (consolidated)

Age limit: 40 years (as on 31 December 2013)
[Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for BC category candidates and by 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.]

Qualifications: Graduate in Psychology/Social works/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development.

Post Graduate qualification in the mentioned subjects would be preferred.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written test and Interview.

Only shortlisted candidates, on the basis of their fulfillment of the eligibility conditions, will be called for the written test.

Candidates successful in the written test will be called for the viva-voce as per merit.

Candidates shortlisted for viva-voce will be required to produce the all certificates/documents in original as well as one set of attested photocopies for verification.

A panel of candidates will be formed for posting for any vacancy created within next one year.

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with two latest passport size photographs and attested copies of required certificates/documents/testimonials through Registered Post to ‘The Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Health–III, 325 G.T. Road, Tinkonia Bus Stand, near Gurudwara, Burdan–01, West Bengal’ so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 22 January 2014 (1700 hours).

The applications can also be dropped in the application drop box kept in the premises of the office of the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Health–III, Burdan for the purpose till the prescribed last date.  

On the top of the left side of the envelop carrying the Application, candidates should super–scribe ‘Category of the post applied for’ in capital letters.
