Application process is nearing end for West Bengal Teacher Recruitment 2016. Candidates can apply against 42949 vacancies at the official portal. Candidates eligible for the post can apply online through prescribed format from 30 September 2016 to 07 October 2016. The applications are invited for Primary Teachers/ Assistant Teachers to work in the Govt. Eligibility Criteria for West Bengal Primary Teacher (PRT) Jobs:

Educational Qualification: All candidates must have studied and obtained Madhyamik (Secondary) Pass Certificate or its equivalent with Mathematics and English as subjects.

• Higher Secondary pass under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with at least 50% marks.
• And 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education.
• Graduation and two year Diploma in Elementary Education and qualified TET.

Age Limit: 18-40 years.

Selection Procedure for West Bengal Primary Teacher (PRT) Jobs:

The selection of the candidates for WBBPE Primary Teacher Jobs or PRT Jobs will be done on the basis of Interview/ Viva Voce/ Aptitude Test and the scrutiny of documents will be conducted by the board.
