WBP Constable Recruitment 2024 for 10255 Vacancies: The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has published a notification for recruitment to the post of constables. The board is filling up 10,255 constable vacancies, out of which 7,228 are for males and 3,027 for females. The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a written exam followed by a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Interview.
The registration will commence on 7 March on the website of the WBPRB - prb.wb.gov.in. The last date if the application is 5 April 2024

WBP Constable Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Educational Qualifications:- The applicant must have passed the Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
- Language: - The applicant must be able to speak, read and write in Bengali language, provided that the provision will not apply to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts for whom the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 (West Ben. Act XXIV of 1961) shall be applicable.
- Age: - 18 to 30 years on 01.01.2024.

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST shall pay Rs. 43/- only (Processing Fees : Rs. 20/- plus Service Charge (including GST) Rs. 23/- to the authorized staff of the Sahaj Retail Limited outlets.
