Eligibility Criteria for Director & Advisor Posts 2016

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Director of Institute De Chandernagore, Hooghly – An eminent scholar with Ph.D. Qualification(s) in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline and published work  of  high  quality,  actively  engaged  in  research  with  evidence  of  published  work  with  a  minimum  of 10 publications as books and / or research / policy papers.
• Director, Bureau of Applied Economics & Statistics – A  first  class  or  a  second  class  (B+)  Master  degree  in  Statistics  or  Economics  /  Mathematics  with specialization in Statistics followed by a Doctorate Degree from a recognized University / Institute.
• Joint Director, Animal Resources Development (Institute Of Animal Health & Veterinary Biologicals,  Research  &  Education) –A post graduate degree in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc.).
• Joint  Director,  Animal  Resources  Development  of  the  Directorate  In Divisions  In  West  Bengal  Higher  Animal  Husbandry  &  Veterinary  Service – A Master degree in Veterinary Science. (ii) Eight years’ experience in field in eradication of diseases.
• Joint Director, Animal Resources Development in West Bengal Higher Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Service – A Master degree in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry. (ii) Eight years’ experience in extension work in field.
• Deputy  Director,  Animal  Resources  Development  (Fodder)  in  West  Bengal Higher  Animal  Husbandry  &  Veterinary  Service – A Master degree in Agriculture with a degree in Agriculture.
• Deputy  Director,  Animal  Resources  Development  (Microbiology)  in  W.B. Higher  Animal  Husbandry  &  Veterinary  Service – A  Master  degree  in  Veterinary  Science  in  any  specialties  dealing  with  disease  diagnosis/disease radication/Veterinary Biological Production and allied matter.
• Adviser on Mountaineering in the Directorate of Youth Services under the Department of Youth Services, Govt. of West Bengal) – A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.

Age Limit

Upper Age Limit (as on 01.01.2016):-

• Director – 50 years
• Joint Director – 52 years
• Deputy  Director – 50 years
• Adviser – 45 years
