Ex-Malabar
The 28th edition of Exercise MALABAR was conducted from October 08 to 18, 2024 at Visakhapatnam.The exercise was conducted between India, Australia, Japan and the US and it was hosted by the Indian Navy.
RIMPAC
The 29th edition of multinational exercise RIMPAC was conducted in Pearl Harbour, Hawaii, from June 27 to August 02, 2024. Ship Shivalik, P8I aircraft and a team of Marine Commandos were deployed in the South China Sea and Pacific Ocean.
JIMEX 24
Commonly known as Japan – India Maritime Exercise 2024 (JIMEX 24) conducted in Yokosuka, Japan. The exercise includes both harbour and sea phases. INS Shivalik participated in the bilateral Japan – India Maritime Exercise 2024 (JIMEX 24). It was held in two phases, from June 11 to 14, 2024.
This was the eighth edition of JIMEX, since its inception in 2012.
Ex-Indra
Exercise Indra 2024 was conducted from July 25 to August 01, 2024 at St. Petersburg, Russia. Ship Tabar participated in the exercise with the Russian Federation Navy.
Ex-Varuna
The 22nd edition of Exercise Varuna was conducted in the Mediterranean Sea. It was conducted from September 01 to 04, 2024 wherein maiden P8I European detachment was undertaken at Istres, France for participation in Ex-Varuna 24.
IBSAMAR VIII
It was conducted in Simon’s Town, South Africa from October 10 to 16, 2024. Countries participating in the exercise were India-South Africa- Brazil. Indian Ship Talwar participated in the exercise from the Indian side.
Ex-Tiger Triumph
An advanced large scale joint amphibious Tri-Service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Exercise was conducted from March 18 to 31, 2024. The exercise was conducted on the Eastern Seaboard of India between India and the US.
Exercise Desert Knight
The Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted Exercise Desert Knight along with French Air and Space Force (FASF) and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force on 23 Jan 2024. These aircraft operated from the Al Dhafra air base in the UAE
Exercise-Khanjar XI
The India-Kyrgyzstan Joint Special Forces Exercise was conducted at Special Forces Training School in Bakloh, Himachal Pradesh from 22nd January to 3rd February 2024.
Aim: To exchange experiences and best practices in Counter Terrorism and Special Forces Operations in Built-up Area and Mountainous Terrain.
Tiger Triumph – 24
A bilateral tri-Service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Exercise between India and USA. It was conducted in eastern Seaboard from 18 to 31 Mar 24.
Exercise Red Flag 2024
It was conducted from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska of the United States Air Force, from 04 Jun to 14 Jun 24.
Participated organisations-Indian Air Force, Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF), Royal Air Force (RAF) of the United Kingdom, Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF), German Luftwaffe, and the US Air Force (USAF).
Ex-Kakadu
The multinational exercise Kakadu-24 was conducted at Darwin, Australia, from September 05 to 22, 2024.
Ex-Sea Dragon
The multilateral exercise Sea Dragon was conducted from January 08 to 22, 2024. Indian P8I aircraft operated from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam in the exercise Sea Dragon. The Indian P8I crew was judged first in the identification of tonals.
