Zilla Parishad, Hooghly invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Engineer and other posts. All the appointees have to serve the probation period of 02 (two) years and the post of Assistant Engineer will be on Contractual Basis, maximum for the period of 02 (two) years. Eligibility Criteria for Zilla Parishad Hooghly Assistant Engineer and Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Engineer: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate discipline of Civil Engineering.
2. Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil/ Electrical): Possess Diploma in the respective discipline of Engineering.
3. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Assistant Cashier: Possess Madhyamik Pass or equivalent.
4. Additional Accountant: Possess Bachelor’s Degree in the Commerce discipline.

Age Limit 

Gen: Between 18 to 40 years as on 01 January 2016.

OBC: Relaxation of 03 years.

SC/ ST: Relaxation of 05 years.

PWD & other candidates: As per norms.
