- Himalayan Research Fellow: MSc & PhD in Zoology or Life Sciences or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Age Limit for Zoological Survey of India Research Associate & Research Fellow posts:
- Himalayan Research Associate: Not exceeding 40 years
- Himalayan Research Fellow: Not exceeding 28 years
