Sydney, Australia: The Manly Library located in Sydney, Australia is in the spotlight for declaring that all the books of Lance Armstrong, the cyclist who confessed of doping, would be shifted to the fiction section.
The Australian library named The Manly Library displayed a sign in the fourth week of January 2013, declaring that all books on Lance Armstrong would be shifted to the fiction section soon. The notice was posted by the part-time staffer of the library declaring that all non-fiction books on Lance Armstrong which also includes the Lance Armstrong: Images of a Champion, Lance Armstrong: The World’s Greatest Champion and The Lance Armstrong Performance Program, would be shifted in the section titled fiction.
Manly Library declared that the part-time staffer who displayed the sign was a young university student who worked at the library for certain hours in a day. He had tried to make a mockery, which eventually sparked various comments on social networking sites as well as also caught the attention of the media in US and Europe.
