The 90th Academy Awards, popularly known as Oscar Awards, were conferred on March 4, 2018 (March 5 as per Indian time).
The award ceremony, hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel, was held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. During the ceremony, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) presented the Academy Awards in 24 categories.
The nominees for the 90th Oscar Awards were announced on January 23, 2018 through a global live stream from the Academy. While the movie ‘The Shape of Water’ led all nominees with thirteen nominations, Dunkirk came in second with eight, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri came in third with seven.
