Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Elections 2019 will be held in five phases across all 81 constituencies. The elections will begin from November 30 and the last phase polling will happen on December 20. The Assembly Election Results will be announced on December 23.
Public Health Emergency declared in Delhi: All schools to remain closed till November 5
A public health emergency has been announced in the National Capital. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced that all the schools will remain shut in Delhi till November 5th due to severe air pollution levels, which could severely impact the health of the children. The EPCA also imposed a blanket ban on firecrackers for the entire winter period.

India recently paved way for the launch of the RuPAY card in Saudi Arabia after signing an MoU to formalize the same. Saudi Arabia has become the third gulf nation to welcome the RuPAY card. The payment system was first launched in Singapore and UAE was the first middle east nation to welcome it, followed by Bahrain.
Eritrea and Saint Kitts and Nevis have signed the International Solar Alliance (ISA) framework agreement to become the newest members of the group. This takes the total membership of ISA to 83.
West Bengal puts complete ban on manufacture, storage, sale of Gutka, Pan Masala
West Bengal has completely banned the production and sale of gutka and pan masala in the state for a year starting from November 7, 2019. The Government has initiated the ban to control the adverse effect of tobacco use. Even minors were found using gutka in the state.
