Five-time national champion Vidya Pillai Tilakraj of Tamil Nadu defeated Arantxa Sanchis 3-1 (53-34, 43-53, 92-15, 54-15) in the final in the National billiards and snooker championship on 25 July 2011. The victory enabled Vidya Pillai to retain her senior women's snooker title at the Hash 10-World Sim Nationals.
Arantxa, who held the lead at least once in three of the four frames, did not have enough in her arsenal to overcome six-time National champion Vidya, whose superior break-building got her out of jail on most occasions. Trailing 25-9 in the first frame, Vidya assumed the lead with a break of 28, which proved decisive. Arantxa did not register a single break of over 10 in the first frame.
