Year of Germany in India to be Organized in 2011

German Ambassador to India Thomas Matussek announced on 26 April 2010 the organisation of the programme 'Year of Germany in India' in India in 2011. The programme would mark the completion of 60 years of diplomatic relations with India.

German Ambassador to India Thomas Matussek announced on 26 April 2010 the organisation of the programme 'Year of Germany in India' in India in 2011. The programme would mark the completion of 60 years of diplomatic relations with India. The German government allocated 13 million Euros for the programme. The event would include programmes like exchange of educational programmes, knowledge-sharing, discussions on scientific developments and German film festivals.
