What is Delhi Traffic Advisory for Today?

In addition to the metro changes Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for roads with vehicular diversion near the boundaries of the city and government areas.

Traffic along Mathura Road, Vikas Marg, Ring Road, and the Delhi-Noida Direct (DND) Flyway will see localised slow movement.

"We advise all commuters to check real-time traffic updates and plan their travel well in advance. Utilizing alternate routes and relying on verified official updates will minimize travel delays," stated the official Delhi Police bulletin.

How to Avoid Delays during Peak Travel Hours across Delhi NCR?

  1. Check the official DMRC app for realtime station gate updates before leaving home.

  2. Drivers traveling between Gurgaon, Noida, and Ghaziabad should use peripheral expressways to bypass Central Delhi entirely.

  3. Allow an extra 20 to 30 minutes for security clearance at open metro gates.

Transit authorities have been tracking traffic in the capital city and they will update information through their social media accounts as the gates open or close during the day.

The transit authorities in the city have been tracking crowd movement in the capital city, and passengers should monitor official social media accounts as the gates open and roads are cleared during the day.
