The 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme has been released on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Over 9.4 crore farmers received ₹2,000 each, with the government spending ₹20,000 crore on this installment. 

In the previous installment on June 18, 2024, around 9.25 crore farmers received the payment. This time, about 25 lakh new farmers have been added to the list of beneficiaries.

PM-KISAN 18th Installment 

On October 5, 2024, PM Narendra Modi will transfer over ₹20,000 crore to more than 9.4 crore farmers as part of the 18th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme. The event will take place in Washim, Maharashtra.

PM-KISAN Direct Benefit Transfer

This scheme is meant for small and marginal farmers in India who own up to 2 hectares of land. They receive ₹6,000 every year, directly transferred to their bank accounts in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. It is the world's largest direct benefit transfer scheme.

How to Check PM-KISAN Installment Status?

Here are the simple steps to check your PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiary status:

Step 1: Visit the official PM Kisan Yojana website: pmkisan.gov.in

Step 2: Go to the "Farmers Corner" section

Step 3: Click on the "Beneficiary Status" link

Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number, as required and submit

Step 5: Payment status will appear on the screen

How to Check PM-KISAN Eligibility?

Farmers can easily check their eligibility and if their name is enrolled in the scheme by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Go to the official PM-KISAN website

Step 2: Click on the 'Beneficiary List' option

Step 3: Enter state, district, sub-district, block, and village details

Step 4: The beneficiary list will be displayed on the screen, check your name in the list

When was 17th PM-KISAN Installment Released?

PM Modi released the 17th installment of the PM-KISAN yojana on June 18, 2024, from his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi. A total of 9.26 crore farmers benefited from this installment. This 18th installment will benefit over 9.4 crore farmers across the nation.
