The city of Kerman, Iran had been struck by two massive blasts in the very first week of the new year, i.e. on January 3. The blasts led to the sad death of over 103 people and more.
The Iran attack has proved to be one of the most massive and deadliest to have occurred in Iran in the last fifty years.
Randhir Jaiswal, spokesperson of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs could not resist and expressed his shock and dismay over platform X, formerly Twitter.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims and with the wounded.
What did Iran say on the matter? Well the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi accused the government of Israel of the blasts. In a televised speech, the Iranian President warned the latter with the words, “I warn the Zionist regime, do not doubt that you will pay a heavy price for this crime and the crimes you have committed.” Additionally, the Iranian President further said that the punishment of the attacks for Israel is indeed going to be "regrettable and severe."
Times have not been favorable in the Middle East recently. For instance, in the month of October, Hamas, the Palestinian group, attacked Israel. The latter did not sit quiet and reverted to military actions that are ongoing in the Gaza strip, leading to multiple casualties.
