According to the latest statement released by the Election Commission of India, "the counting of votes for the General Election to the House of the People in 2024 and the State Legislative Assemblies of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha and bye-elections to Assembly Constituencies shall be held on June 4, 2024 (Tuesday) starting at 8 am onwards."

Voting for the 543-member Lok Sabha (in which the seats of Surat and Indore were unopposed) was conducted throughout seven phases between April 19 and June 1. The election phases were: April 19 (Phase 1), April 26 (Phase 2), May 7 (Phase 3), May 13 (Phase 4), May 20 (Phase 5), May 25 (Phase 6), and June 1 (Phase 7). The results will be declared on June 4.
Along with the Loksabha Election 2024 results, the results for the state legislative assemblies of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, and bye-elections to assembly constituencies will be out, according to the Election Commission of India.
However, the vote counting for the state legislative assembly elections in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh was conducted on Sunday, June 2. The Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), headed by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, won 31 of 32 seats in Sikkim, securing a resounding victory. Whereas, the BJP, which secured 46 of the 60 seats, will form the government in Arunachal Pradesh.
